Director and builder of the Master of Science in Financial Engineering Program at the University of Illinois. Concurrently a consultant on the securitization of insurance and the emerging ILS market. Previously builder and CEO of a Financial Futures Brokerage company with a worldwide clientele. In building of all his ventures he has been at the leading edge in risk management for a variety of new financial products - Financial Futures, Insurance Securitization and now High Frequency-Algorithmic Trading. Dr. Lane is a specialist in bridging and integrating the re/insurance industry with the capital markets. His work is characterized by bringing sophisticated academic analysis to practical business challenges.
